That is not what should determine whether you are successful in your future or not. Sitting in a sixty minute class seven hours a day having to switch between classes is just not the ideal way of learning for everyone. There should be different options for those who don 't fit into the normal high school structure. The purpose of education is to provide ways for others to learn, therefor the educational system needs to figure out ways for everyone to have the chance to learn in a successful way. Most of the time if someone wants to learn and has the will to then they will learn what is taught. But what if it 's not what is being taught but how it is being presented to the students. The way teachers are teaching could be the problem, Ballantine states “The best teaching methods are always those that are chosen by the student, not the teacher. Many students prefer learning methods in which they can apply their knowledge practically. Students learn effectively through hands-on experience.” I believe that if there were more variety of classes students would be more
