We surveyed a random sample and the results of the survey proved that the people that made more money were on average happier then people that made less. We did not form an experiment but conducted a survey. There proved to be a positive correlation between your mood and wealth. Our study had two variables, and the independent variable was annual income and our dependent variable was happiness level. Confounding variables in our study weren’t that big. There were a few that impacted the results of our study, and they would be truthfulness of participants and if the participants took our survey before or after they had eaten dinner. If we were to redo our study we would make sure the subjects were hundred percent truthful in their answers and have them all take the survey either before or after they had eaten dinner. This could help furthermore verify and validate our results. For future research, researchers should go more in-depth to see if money and happiness go together. They should try to find an exact range where people are the most happy. When you reach such a large amount as one hundred and fifty thousand your happiness levels may plateau from there. But for people making fewer than fifty thousand dollars they may be way less happy. Future researches should go more in-depth and see why after a certain amount your happiness may
