Decreased Military Pay Each year average soldiers are paid anywhere from $19,818 to $62,031.They not only risk their lives, but also they spend time away from their families that they will never get back, eat pre-packaged food worse than the school cafeteria, wake up at the crack of dawn to train, and receive hardly any time for themselves . Not to mention the benefits after they serve for our country. After all of the common citizen privileges that they give up, they are still not credited enough. In saying that, should their pay really be decreased more than what it already is?
When someone signs up for the military they are committing themselves and giving up certain things in life. How would you like to see the people you love about five times a year? Depending on where they are stationed, that is how it is. Memories, accomplishments, and also hardships are missed out on. Those times in life are when you most want your family by your side, but then you realize they are being loyal to our country. Considering that food is essential for our bodies, it is mandatory that we consume the appropriate amount of nutrients. People are more adapt to a select lifestyle than others. For example, the home-cooked meals of your moms that you love. In the military you go on a strict diet. Therefore, it is no longer the comforting,

Granted the fact that they did sign up for what they are presented with, they really need people to recognize the issues they go through. On the contrary, decreasing their pay is the opposing decision to make. Of all salaries to deduct from, why the military? Other careers such as professional sports and celebrities are paid an excessive amount for what they do. Why not cut their pay and split it amongst the careers that do more than what they are paid for? Decreasing is something that is
