Persuasive Essay Batman

Decent Essays
Instead of taking lives, Batman depends on his martial art skills and the gadgets on his belt, like his batarangs, to defend himself and fight crime. Despite whether a batarang to the eye or a punch that connects to the head a little too hard, Batman is still not taking somebody’s life. The Batman uses gadgets and his fighting skills to fend off the Joker, because he cannot pull the trigger, and finally kill him.

Try as it might, this movie can't diminish the fundamental appeal of the original comic. It offers a very poignant and intelligent look at the doomed relationship between Batman and Joker. It showcases the Clown Prince of Crime in a rare period of vulnerability while still reminding viewers how deadly and twisted he is. It makes use of the R-rating without being pointlessly gratuitous in terms of sex and violence. And there's that wonderfully ambiguous ending, which arguably works even better with Conroy and Hamill's voices bringing it to life.…

Lives have been lost through improper treatment of unstable individuals time and time again through mass shootings and other tragedies.
