Persuasive Essay Against Gmos

There are many reasons I am against GMO´s. GMOs are Genetically Modified Organisms. GMOs is when you take one gene from one organism and put it into another organism. GMOs can be very harmful to the environment and wildlife. GMOs are produced by human actions. They also have long term effects on the environment and wildlife.
GMOs can be very toxic to non-targeted animals. The animals that it may be toxic to is bees, butterflies and birds. The World Health Organisation says that the bees that pollinate the GMO crops, the GMO crops are killing the bees that pollinate the crops. The bees that pollinate the crops are becoming extremely endangered due to the GMO corps. The GMO crops have a long term effect. The long term affect is that it may kill birds, butterflies and bees. Since the GMO crops are killing the bees they might become extinct in the future.

Sometimes the roundup contaminated the water supplies. Their bodies are not able to handle the altered DNA and chemicals that have characteristics of GMOs. Roundup is a toxic herbicide that kills weeds and is also responsible for killing bees, bats, butterflies and other pollinators that pollinate the crops. The EPA wants to regulate the pesticides because they are killing bees.
GMOs have long term effects affecting people and wildlife. GMO crops can affect the growth of wildlife plants that grow naturally. If that happens to the wildlife plants wildlife cannot get food, so they could eventually die off or go to another area and overpopulate that area that they go to. Some countries have seperated the GM crops and the organic crops. Some of the crops that we consume that are the GMO crops are Corn, soybeans and rice.
These are all of the reasons why I am against GMOs. GMOs may have long term effects or short term effects. GMOs can affect wildlife and other
