There are daily, high stake competitions that are very close to gambling, because the Fantasy football games are done in one day. These by itself bring up a good point of where does a person draw the line between having fun and gambling for high stakes. Companies like Draft Kings and Fan Duel have been accused as being insided. This means that employees have been using the nonpublic information to improve their chance of winning. Without the proper guidelines, how can you trust these companies? Consequently, the fact that 91% of the profits were won by just 1.3 % of the players shows that for some reason only a very small amount of players are winning("Senator Calls" 2). These companies are trying to deceive players into thinking that they have a good chance of making a lot of money by having multi-million dollar campaigns. Even though the companies know that 1.3% of the players only win. All of these reasons support the fact that fantasy sports should be considered gambling, but many are still stuck in the mindset that it isn't
