On average, patients survived another day in the ICU, two more days in the hospital, and all patients ultimately died (Heyland). Euthanasia is seen as a viable alternative of cost reduction in many aspects.
In conclusion, Euthanasia has plenty of positive outcomes as stated above. Patients should have a right to say what they believe is best for their health and medical procedures, and assisted suicide would give them this option. Although euthanasia is very controversial to some since it can be seen as devaluing a life, but assisted suicide is the patient's own decision. Euthanasia is also beneficial for the families and hospital by not forcing someone to continue on life support or other machines.
