The practice of using animals has been a debate for years and years. The debate is usually if it right or wrong for animal testing. If you are not familiar with animals testing, then animal testing is the use of non-human animals to determine whether a substance is safe for us or not. Animal are different from us so they make testing unreliable. Studies show that 90% of drugs fail in human trials despite promising results on animal tests.
There are better testing ways to find out information on how the human body will react. You can put human cells in a dish and by adding the medical treatment a result will appear. Animals are going through a drastic amount of pain. Researchers are allowed to perform experiments that cause unrelieved pain and distress to animals.
