Persuasive Essay Against Abortion

Would you say that this is a human being? Most people would say no, so they feel they have the perfect obligation to decide to kill him or her. Abortion has been growing more and more popular, which means more and more babies are going to be killed. Since abortion was legalized in 1973, more than 57 million unborn babies have been killed by their would-be-mothers. If we people of this generation do not take a stand to say abortion is murder, only God knows how many of His creations will be ruthlessly killed. On average, there are about 3,332 abortions every day. Any point-of-view abortion is looked at from, it is, without any explanation needed, murder. Little to no civilization at any location in the world would allow any form of murder without serious action and or punishments being given. Even though most American’s first and foremost objective is to sustain another person’s life in any way shape or form, yet they support abortion. Abortion is no different than any kind of murder. Many women will use one-hundred excuses to support abortion, but none of them are logical in any way shape or form. Multiple women say, “I was raped, so I recieved a baby I never …show more content…
But, a better question would be, “Would you kill an innocent baby?” I know every one of you would say no. So why do women kill babies so much? That is a question that still lacks a complete answer. Most people just do not care anymore. But I am positive that if enough people would take a stand to say abortion is wrong, more and more people will understand that it is wrong, but even worse, it offends or perfect and Holy God. Now, do babies, even those who are unborn, have the same rights as you and I

Abortion is a very touchy subject to a lot of people. Sometimes you can't even say the word "abortion" without getting disgusted looks from the people around you or getting a lecture about why it's a good thing. Abortion is not a good thing. Why should an innocent life be taken without even having the ability to defend itself? Why should a living thing be told that it doesn't have feelings or that it doesn't matter?…

In the news, we constantly hear debates about gay-marriage, police brutality, racism, and many other incidents in America that bring out the inner activists of our people. Most debates over these controversies are no surprise to the public because they have been going on for years. One in particular is the debate about abortions. Individuals object to abortion for a plethora of different reasons, mainly because they view abortion as the murder of an innocent child. A large fraction of the population holds pro-life views, as according to a 2003 survey of women nation-wide conducted by the Center for Gender Equality, a majority of women are pro-life (Ruse). Although anti-abortionists’ reasonings differ, most who are pro-life feel that way because they see abortion as murder. Writer Lynn-nore Chittom elucidates this crux of the anti-abortion position: “Abortion is a deadly and dangerous procedure. In every abortion the life of an innocent, unborn baby is knowingly ended” (Chittom).…

Worldwide, approximately 42 million abortions occur per year that’s approximately 115,000 per day. In the United States, 1.21 million abortions occurred in the year of 2005, which roughly comes out to be 3 per day (4). Moreover, 1% of all abortions occur because of rape or incest, 6% of abortions occur because of potential health problems with either the mother or the child, and 93% of all abortions occur for social reasons (4). Ending an unborn baby’s life is not constituted by choice—no, it’s constituted by deliberate murder. First and foremost, slaughtering an unborn baby via abortion is wrong because an unborn baby is still biologically considered a human being.…

They are developing to have their own life's, to grow, not to be killed. Killing a baby that is not yet born is taking their own rights. It is easy for someone to take it away because the baby cannot fight for it.…

If a female decides that she does not want to carry a pregnancy to term, that is her prerogative. It is a decision that will solely affect her life, so she she be the one to make it. Some women are raped, resulting in a pregnancy. Pro-Life advocates argue that the resulted fetus should not be aborted because it is innocent and aborting it will be punishment, however, they do not put into consideration the women’s emotional and mental state. Another reason women get abortions, is if there is something medically wrong with the fetus.…

Life is something that is valued by most people, with life flourishing at the moment of conception, because a life is a life whether outside of the womb or not. According to the Victoria state government, by the time a fetus is eight weeks old they develop the start of a central nervous system, which contains nerves that can sense and feel, with the fetus also having a stable and developing heartbeat. So not only does the child have a heartbeat and brain activity forming and broadening as days pass, but they are also capable of feeling pain. In our society it's not acceptable to kill any other class except major criminals (K, Brown), but every year millions of innocent lives are diminished. Some individuals even go as far as stating abortions are a form of child abuse because the baby endures pain and suffering on the account of others.…
