Why should a baby not have the chance to live simply because of the poor choices of its mother? Abortion is not a good thing and should not be tolerated. Taking the life of an innocent human being should never be accepted like it is. In the article, “This Is What Abortion Looks Like,” the author's main point is how abortion is a topic that not many people talk about and think is bad but, Wendy Davis, a Texas senator talked about it in public.…

In his article, “The Choice of a Pregnant Woman Always Outweighs the Life of a Fetus,” Peter Singer makes interesting points defending his stance on maybe one of the most controversial topics to ever be known. He thinks that abortions should remain legal for different and, in his eyes, good reasons. He believes that a “woman’s interests always outweigh any supposed interests of a fetus.” Singer uses different scenarios and statistics to further explain why illegalizing abortion may make matters worse. One point that Singer makes in his article is that, if abortion were illegalized, the amount of abortions would still remain high.…

Along with Freakonomics co-author Steven Levitt, PhD, wrote that after abortion was legalized, “Conceptions rose by nearly 30 percent, but births actually fell by 6 percent, indicating that many women were using abortion as a method of birth control, a crude and drastic sort of insurance policy” (“Should Abortion Be Legal?”). This should not be allowed. A solution to this problem would be to better educate teens and young adults about using protection. Many teens are uneducated about the importance of contraceptives because they realize there are other options now. Instead of money being funded to promote planned parenthood and abortions we should educate people on using protection and provide teens with a place to receive free…

Almost half of the students (45%) were on the pill; 10% of those students used the pill solely as their only form of “protection”. Most explanations teens have for practicing unsafe sex is because of their use of birth control. The majority of teen girls who only use the pill say their reasoning for doing so is because they only have one sexual partner. Teenagers shouldn’t be relying on their significant other to keep them from contracting diseases.…

Should the government focus on teenagers or middle-aged women who mess around? No one actually has the correct answer, but a few actions can guide the abortion rates towards extinction. Offering more extensive sexual education classes in high school will force kids to realize the outcomes of their actions. Higher abortion costs would decrease pregnancies in the young and poor, nevertheless it could also lead to more painful home abortions. Decreasing rape and incest rates would ergo decrease abortion rates on a small scale.…

“When a man steals to satisfy hunger, we can safely assume that there is something wrong in society so when a woman destroys the life of her unborn child, it is evidence that either by education or circumstances she has been greatly wronged.” Said by Mattie Brinkerhoff. Abortion is increasing tremendously. There are 40-50 million abortions that occur per year, that means there are 125,000 unborn babies that die every day. In fact, Frank Pavone states that “If we took a moment of silence for each person lost to abortion we would be silent for over 100 years.”…

Tom Anderson says, “Women should have the right to safe and legal abortions because it ensures them full responsibility and free participation in society.” Agreeing with Anderson, M. Lee and Nancy Sprague says not only should abortions be allowed but they should be a constitutional right. Brian Wilson disagreed and said, “Abortions should be outlawed because they are taking the lives of unborn children,” in addition to agreeing with him Lynn-nore Chittom and Heather Newton they are trying to get the supreme court to overturn the Roe v. Wade case. In a way I agree with both sides for different reasons because they both have their pros and cons. Abortion, in less harsh terms, is the termination of a pregnancy due to reasons of rape, incest, issues with the mother’s health, or just an unwanted pregnancy. Many believe abortion is simply the murder of an innocent life. Over 56 million unborn children have been aborted; that is 1 abortion every 24 seconds. Many people believe that abortion is morally wrong for many reasons. First, life starts at the moment of conception (the mother and father have created a new life).…

Considering American ethics and values, killing is morally wrong. Then, the killing of unborn children is morally wrong as well. Abortions should be illegal because the Fourteenth Amendment to the Constitution declares that no states shall deprive any person of life, liberty, or property, there are federal laws protecting the unborn, and murdering individuals is illegal. The history of the legalization of abortion in American…

In the United States the definition of abortion is the deliberate termination of a human pregnancy. My definition of abortion is simple; it 's murder. In our own Constitution, the foundation for our country, it states in the inalienable rights section the right to "life, liberty, and happiness"; when you add abortion to the picture were taking away someone 's right who can 't speak for themselves. So not only are we murderers, we are discriminating against those who can 't speak for themselves. I full heartedly believe abortion is wrong in all cases.…

So most of the abortions in the U.S are just because of unintended pregnancies. Women have to accept their consequences of the actions they took, and not kill a human being because they are not ready. Also raped women will just go through more and have more stress if they have an abortion. It will always be a part of them so there should be no excuse to get rid of a baby. “Abortion should not be permitted for rape because it is wrong for the child to be punished for the sin of the father” (Choice matters, 5).…
