Should we volunteer? Yes, of course. If not us, who will then? We are the ones who live on this planet - we are the ones who should help without even thinking. We should do that for all the people who need our help for ourselves that will give us happiness. Volunteers are needed everywhere! I live in Macedonia which is not a very big country, but there are organizations and volunteers who help in different ways. Some of them are for the homeless people, some for the kids with special needs, some for decorating homes for the people that cannot afford to buy a home. The Red Cross is an organization which donates clothes, food and similar stuff. It is the most famous volunteering organization in my country and in the world. Poraka Nasha (Our message) is an organization which helps people and kids with special needs by including all those people in fun games, making origami, different bazaars and making them happy. They organize bazaars so that everyone who wants to help can donate food, clothes, and medical aid. …show more content…
As we all know there are countries that do not actually have enough donating organizations. That is one of the main problems in Africa. The people of Africa are very poor and they cannot even find water to drink. There are also a lot of homeless people and people that need help. In Africa there are also care homes that take care of children without parents. The life of those kids is very hard but it is even harder when they do not have anything to eat and drink. Africa is a poor country but it could be very rich when all of us will help and donate for them. We all have homes and pretty lives but they do not. They need help from all of the people that have enough money for making their life beautiful. So why should they not help to all of those poor, innocent people in Africa fighting for a drop of water? We should volunteer and help people in Africa because they really need

Peter singer gives us two different levels on why we don't donate. The question, to what extent of responsibility each human has, on this planet, to help those less fortunate, is not easily answered. Its important to consider that each individual in the world has different morals. We were taught various values that make us who we are today. Therefore, to lump all humans together as having an equal responsibility to assist those in need, is not feasibly possible. No matter how we feel, some people will always give more than they are accountable, and others will not give at all.…

Veterans are a group of people that write a blank check totaling their life to the government. They fight to defend our country and every American citizen. Then when their service is done they come home to be unnerved and underappreciated. Veterans are: mothers, fathers, brothers, sisters, sons, daughters, husbands, wives, and friends. The main thing we should do is make them known to others, so they know that we are there for them and let them know their service is more than appreciated, and we should let them know that and not let them be forgotten.…

It shows who you are as a person and reflects the positive character traits you have. Relay for life is a life-changing event that allows everyone in communities across the globe to come together to honor cancer survivors, remember loved ones, and help fight back. If only there would have been more people volunteering, then so much more people could have been helped. And if more people can be help, then the suffering on earth can be ease. The big problem is that everyone is so busy with their personal life that they forget about the importance of helping others. A positive aspect I saw was that those who were already volunteering were really dedicated and kind hearted. I believe they are making a big impact on every person they touched and made it a task to spread their kindness.…

An elderly woman who got to take part in a high school community service project states, “Many think that volunteering is all about what you give. But what catches you by surprise is how much you receive in return.” This demonstrates why many people do not feel that they should give back because they do not believe the benefits that they can get from it as well. Consequently, when creating that feeling of happiness and satisfaction in someone else’s life, it comes back to the person creating it. Volunteering to help someone get tutored, help the handicapped, involve themselves with a program like Meals on Wheels, certain environmental work, etc., not only does one gain from that, but one’s community has been helped because of them.…
