“Statistic shows that 39.3% of marriage fail after eight years of being married under the age of 20” (National Vital Statistics System). Teens shouldn’t get married if there isn’t any history or background on past relationships. Not only… but also, young adults rush to get married so soon because they think it’s going to last forever with no bumps or problems along the way. In all reality, getting married as a young teen could make you lose focus on what you had planned before this “special someone” came along. But then again, some teens have there head screwed on straight to the point where handling a relationship, school work, and other responsibilities isn’t a problems. Teenage marriage are destined for failure because there are always lingering feelings for an ex partner and unabashed lasting romance for someone else.

In the article “The Surprising Benefits Of Marrying Young”, the author speculates getting married young isn’t for everyone because people have found the perfect match waiting longer and the “forever” lasting romance for an ex will more then likely be gone. The author states, “You start life together with more of the guileless freshness that lends itself to unabashed and lasting romance”(McKay 4). To put into other words there's stronger trust with one another because there is no history there to reflect on in the new dating relationship. Young couples get into life situations together. Young couples do things together because there is young adults and still have the energy things together
