Obviously, Star Wars has completely overshadowed anything and everything else that’s out there at the moment – but from the big budget summer spectaculars to the lesser-appreciated indie flicks, there was a lot to love throughout the year. And, a lot to hate, as well…

First things first, plenty of hard-hitting records were set – possibly none more impressive than the those established by Jurassic World. Sometimes, in sports or in life in general, there are favorites and underdogs. There is a general consensus that the favorite team or player will win but sometimes it`s the underdog that wins and receives all the honor related with that win. Michael Crichton wrote the original “Jurassic Park” and Steven Spielberg captivated us with the 1993 Blockbuster that has turned into an impeccable franchise (Anderson, 2015). At ten years old, I merely went to see the movie a dozen times before my parents no longer would give into my paleontology obsession. “No one’s impressed by a dinosaur anymore,” are the lines expressed by park manager, Claire, in “Jurassic World” (Anderson, 2015). The franchise has spawned a mega-brand that has like any other, experienced highs and lows. Did I mention “Jurassic World” was just named the #3 highest-grossing film of all time, by Newsday (2015).…

My advice to makayla is to never get stuck on one question no longer than five minutes. It's okay to skip a question and come back to it later once you have answer all of the other questions. It's also okay to guess intelligently on some of the questions. I feel that you shouldn't always linger on the same questions, because that can cause you to loose most of you time on the test. John When writing I think John should just write everything out first step-by-step.…

There was such an abundance of merchandise, that now things like mugs that resemble the characters and action figures are still considered collectables today. A girl is crouching behind a table and the camera pans out to reveal a CGI velociraptor slowly approaching her direction. However, the visuals themselves is not what creates the tension that this iconic Jurassic Park scene is known for. The entire experience of the scene is what really touches the audience, it’s the unmistakable silence that catches our attention. It’s that silence that draws one in, the kitchen utensils clattering unusually loudly that makes our hearts beat faster, and the frantic violin crescendo causing our anxiety to sky rocket. It is the entire experience that causes the audience to walk out of the theater with adrenaline still rushing throughout their body.…

I'll admit; I've seen the nasty, embarrassing parts of this fandom, the parts which make potential armys want to avoid us. The inappropriate comments on YouTube, the delusional possessiveness over one member or another, those have certainly made their appearance.
