One of the main reasons kids should not specialize in one sport is it can lead to major disappointment. According to the article “Travel Team Heartbreak”, it states, “it seems that because he was not on a team he was missing out on precious life experiences.” (pg. 17). This shows that not being part of a team can cause feelings of depression and loneliness. […] Jeremy however, still plays.” (pg.17). this shows that if you only play one sport you may become burned out tor receive serious injuries that can affect your future.
