This continues until Macklemore raps; “In the third grade, I thought that I was gay because I could draw, my uncle was, and I kept my room straight.” He exposes the stereotypes of what younger children think it means to be gay. He then goes on saying “I remember doing the math like, yeah I’m good at little league, a preconceived idea of what it all meant to those who like the same sex.” He reiterates the fact that young children are exposed to many different stereotypes.
