My Proposal To End Racism

Everyone has been discriminated against at least one time. Admit it, we have been racist towards other people or races and other people are racist to us. Then, Racism is a never ending circle of Stereotypes and problems. Racism is “the belief that all members of each race possess characteristics or abilities specific to that race, especially so as to distinguish it as inferior or superior to another race or races.” Racism is a subject that has been talked about for many centuries. Many people, like Martin KIng Jr, have done something to help end racism. However, You can 't simply end racism. Racism is like a cigarette. You can 't stop smoking if you don 't want to, and you can 't stop racism if people don 't want to. I am asking for less racism …show more content…
I am just asking for people to really know other people and other races before making an assumption based on a stereotypes. In order for my proposal to work, everyone would have to be involved. Even though there will always be some people who have a racist mindset, if more people tried to be less racist by believing less stereotypes we would be getting closer to the end of racism. This change should made because then less people would experience racism. Like I said, everybody has experienced racism and has a story to tell, including my parents. My parents experienced racism by a white police officer last year. My parents’ only intention was to go get some food, but instead they went through an experience that definitely changed their lives. My parents went to “El Senorial” because we had just got back from a party. Everyone was hungry, so they ordered something to eat. When they received their food, they went back to the truck. They were content they were going to take everyone 's favorite food. On the way to the house, they were stopped. When both cars were parked on the side of the street, the police officer walked to the truck and told my dad to get out of the truck. My parents were confused but followed
