First of all, music makes you smarter. If you join band it might actually help you with your grades. Einstein played a couple instruments. So whenever he got stuck on a problem he would start playing one of them to help his brain focus on the math problem. It worked for him, and today he is one of the most famous scientists. They are so smart and talented with this subject. Mr. Holt and Mr. Ferman tell funny stories in between lessons to engage us. And they are very amusing. It is always the best part of the day to go to band and have a wonderful time. Even if you have never played an instrument you can join beginner band. The teachers are so helpful at that point and they help a lot. They don’t rush you ethier. Furthermore the Rogers band teachers are astounding.
Lastly, there are many fun rewards. This year (2017-2018) we got to go to main event if we passed off our objectives and NRH20 if we passed off at least 8 of our 12 major scales. They both are very fun. NRH20 is a water park and a competition. We get to hang out with our friends all day after the competition. At main event it is just for fun. There is also a main event lock in just because we all participated. You get to make memories with your band friends at these places. They are awesome rewards!
