Hello! I am a grade 7 student in Mr.Biran's class, and we have recently been informed that our grade will not be going on any over night trips this year that have been done in the past. Before anything else, I must ask you to refrain from blaming our teachers for this, for they had nothing to do with our petition, and it was purely our idea. Most parents are willing to pay the fee, and even though some can't, we have the capability of fundraising on our own with minimum aid of yourself and other staff.…

I believe that all students in grade 12 should have to take one year of mandatory military training. Three reasons that students should have mandatory military training is knowing how to act in an emergency, students will have something to do after high school, and gun control and safety.…

There are various effective arguments I would make to support students having homework by their teachers. The first argument I would make is that homework helps students to better retain the lessons they’ve learned during the school day. Students need a lot of exercises to do to retain what they learn everyday in school. Since class time isn’t enough to provide a lot of exercises on one subject, homework is the best way to exercise what’s been learned in class. If no homework is given to students on a subject that’s been discussed in class, it’s more likely for them to forget the subject the next day.…
