Some say that dogs are a man's best friend, but really, dogs are great pets for the whole family! Although they are cute and loveable, some people still argue that dogs are way to expensive and too time consuming, but really that isn’t the case at all! Dogs are fun, loyal, happy and also very fun to teach, but that isn’t the best part. Coming home from a long day of school, work, sports or where ever you go can be tiring, but imagine a little furry puppy just coming up to lay with you to end that rough day. I think that having a dog can you a lot of positive things for the future, and there are a lot of benefits. In the article Ten Reasons Why You Shouldn’t Get a Dog says “It Isn't fair to your dog if you never bother teaching him he’s supposed to use the bathroom outside, but you get mad when he goes inside the house.” Some people don’t have enough time to train their dog, but if your one of those people you’re in luck! Some places like Petco or Petsmart have classes that will train your dog without you being there! So you won’t have to get off from work to or whatever to train your dog! People also complain that they travel too much to take care of a pet. If you can’t take your dog with you on a trip then you can always put a dog in a kennel or you can let him stay with a loved one or friend! That way you won’t be stressed out on your trip! The last thing that people say is that they like their house neat and tidy all the time, and dogs will just make it messy. Sure, dogs aren’t the neatest creatures ever, but neither are we. To keep your house clean you’ll either have to get someone to come and clean it or you’ll have to clean it once or twice a week. Which really isn’t that bad. Having a dog does take time and effort, but there are things you can do that will make it not that much of a big deal.
