When you think of college what comes to mind? Is it the dread of homework? Or is it that interaction of meeting new people? Many people think college is a waste of time when it might not actually be a bad idea. Now Days College seems to be the best way to a good life but still so many people choose not to go. If the population saw college as a fun and exciting learning environment then they would decide to go, also the reason being could be that most of their family members decided not to go so they want to do the same. College actually has its perks, and there are quiet a few reasons to start going.
Money, now that does not sound too bad. In fact having more of it would make people a lot happier. Going to college plays a huge role in the money factor, of course just going to college to get financial aid is a different story, but going to college and taking those courses that are aimed at your career can not only make one happy because they are a step up in the game, but also help you more in the future. “When experts and journalists spend so much time talking about the limitations of education, they almost certainly are discouraging some teenagers from going to college” (Leondhart 2). Even though that may be true, society should not let them decide what to do and what they cannot do , this is our life and people learn from their mistakes and that is a benefit because that is a part of growing up. We cannot let experts decide our future, we are in control and can choose to go to college to better our future and have better
