Global climate change has been an extremely debatable topic over the years, where supporters and opposers alike strongly argue whether that humans are responsible or not to the increasing climate problems we face. climate change refers to the increase in average global temperatures primarily due to the increase of greenhouse gasses such as co2. The scientific discovery of climate change started in the 19th century when the greenhouse effect was first being noticed, after the topic was introduced, many scientists from all over the world started posing theories about climate change which led it to be a big public debate. Climate change is contrversial but extremely important problem to resolve. I, as a climate enthusiast, feel that humans are to take the blame for the changes we see daily to our atmosphere. Governments everywhere are breaking international …show more content…
Opponents argue that the changes in our climate are the results of natural phenomenon more than that of human interference. Lots of people see that the global climate change we face today is largely caused by natural phenomenon that was supposed to happen and have even happened before, for example: Scientists proved that the greenhouse effect is completely natural and that the variations we see today in our climate are natural and happened before regularly among the different ages, Scientists state that the jurassic era which was inhabited by dinosaurs and the ice age which was inhabited by wooly mammoths are strong indicators that extreme climate changes can happen without the interference humans. Another strong argument is that the sun is mainly responsible for the temperature increase we are in today, where they say that an increased activity in solar waves is causing the earth to warm up. The arguments provided by these scientists were proven wrong one by one, where according to NASA, human

Climate Change Climate change is one of the significant factors that have an impact on many of the Earth’s ecosystems, communities, and economies. Scientists have said that human activities are the leading cause of climate change and it should change that because if nothing changes now, it will continue to alter the environment that we depend on for survival. According to NASA, “human activities over the past 50 years have warmed our planet”. Most people, including myself, is that humans are causing the climate to change and it is going to negatively affect us in the future due to increase levels of carbon dioxide. While skeptics believe that humans are not the cause, the main cause is natural variability. Guinn_ENVM620_M5_GradedAssign 1. Climate change is defined as a broad range of changes that are happening to the planet and include: Rising sea levels, shrinking mountain glaciers, accelerated ice melt at the poles, which is primarily the result of human activity of burning of fossil fuels, which releases carbon dioxide (a heat trapping gas) into the air (Dunbar, n.d.). The key arguments in support of global climate change include both natural cases and manmade causes. Some of these natural causes include changes in the earth’s orbit and the amount of energy coming from the sun, in addition to oceanic changes and volcanic eruptions (Dunbar, n.d.).…

Is climate change caused by humans? Does it even exist? These certain questions caused the “main” obstacle of climate change, to “give birth” to another obstacle. Climate change is said to be caused by pollution of our greenhouse gases, the heat from the sun is absorbed by the greenhouse gases and re-emitted in all directions, warming the surface and lower atmosphere of the earth. Scientific proof shows us that climate changes is contributing to the fact our glaciers are melting at both poles of the earth.…

Recently, there was a meeting to discuss how to control carbon emissions. This meeting is known as the World Climate Summit which was held in Paris, France in December 2015. Alejandro Vieyra Mr. Moody English 4 5 December 2016 Climate Change Must Stop Climate change is the changing of weather patterns in regions all around the world. The primary cause of climate change is the appreciable amount of fossil fuel emissions that humans are sending into the atmosphere. These emissions consist of carbon dioxide that ultimately retain more heat in our atmosphere than needed, thus elevating the temperature everywhere around the globe and damaging ecosystems greatly. Many people, including politicians and scientists, believe that climate change is simply a hoax. Although some prefer to believe that climate change is fake and we have nothing to worry about, there are concrete facts that prove these individuals wrong.…

These harsh conditions are increased by air pollution and climate change through cars and factories; man-made inventions. These innovative technologies have been necessary in order to have a functioning and developing society and economy. However, the belief that humans are the sole cause of climate change is refuted by scientists, advocating that the change in the Earth’s climate is a natural cause. Earth formed over about 4.5 billion years ago, and it has changed ever since then.…
