Many years ago casinos were considered almost like a sin, many people just hated the idea of others spending their time betting money like it was nothing. But that wasn't the only reason why casinos weren't liked as much, the majority of them when they were first founded, were run by the Mafia. If you know the reputation of the Mafia you will know that a casino's reputation was just the same. They weren't considered a “good” thing to do for many obvious reasons, in which it involved prostitution and drugs.

Today, casino companies are spread out worldwide! You can go anywhere in the world and it's very likely you'll find a casino at a local city. Even though it's been years since people had a bad opinion about casinos, nothing much has changed about them. Of course, casinos aren't run by mafias anymore but “dirty” business is still done even if you don't hear about it, it's mostly just done in a very secret way. They have become more successful than anyone ever thought. It's all due to people changing over the years; they are more open minded. Customers today want to be entertained and want to win money! They don't care about how much money they lose they just want to keep on going. Casinos have also made many changes by adding more games which attract customers and they bring in more entertainment for them to enjoy while playing in casinos. One of the most favorite things anyone could have about going to play at a casino are the free drinks that are offered to you as long as you keep playing.
