Breaking News: A police officer was driving home from eating her lunch when she noticed smoke coming from this old abandoned house. While she was driving by she stopped to check the scene. She heard a strange whine coming from inside the basement of the house. In that basement stood an innocent 2 year-old extremely burned pit bull terrier drenched with gasoline (Siebert). Animal cruelty is a plight in the society due to innocence of animals, service animals and stricter laws could reduce the number of People abusing animals. Animals are great at protecting people from anything that tries to harm them like break ins, someone not known at the door that Is knocking. Yes ik they think it is funny to laugh at somebody burning or killing a dog but it is NOT! And never will be, it is absolutely sick. Like they have to have some nerve to do that to a poor little animal like that! Have some common sense it is not right. Animals have their own lives you know and they deserve to live just as much as other people do!
An animal may not be able to speak. But they can look at humans in the eye and make people feel the same pain they are feeling because If you have ever gotten mad at a dog and they look at you kind of funny with those so called “ puppy dog eyes” well that is their way of showing you that they are sorry and they feel awful for what they done. So that should not mean that a human can abuse that animal just because It cannot speak or fight back.
So this is why our society needs to have stricter laws so they can stop the violence and abuse of these poor animals for people who ever decides to ever abuse an animal shall not be able to own a pet forever until they learn respect towards animals. Children who have anger issues should start seeing a psychiatrist so they can learn to calm themselves down and act more calmly around the animal when something goes wrong
