Having everyone in the same clothing can level the playing field when it comes to bullying. If every kid is wearing the same thing a bully cant jude or make fun of the clothes they are wearing because there are wearing the same outfit. Another reason to why uniforms are the better choice for schools, is the cost of normal clothing compared to a uniform. In an article, published by the National Association of Secondary School Principals, stated that when kids are encouraged to wear uniforms they are less likely to pay attention to what they are wearing and will not need to worry about if they are fitting in or not. There was a study done by the University of Houston elementary school that proved uniforms enhance grades. They took a group of girls and gave them a language test before enforcing the uniform policy. A few months later they gave the test again and saw the grades had gone up by three percentile points. Sense the girls did not have to focus on what they were wearing, they were able to study for the test and get a better score on it (https://school-uniforms.procon.org). I honestly agree with these statements. I went to public school for the first four years of school and wasn't a very good student. As soon as I transferred to a private school, my grades changed dramatically. I am forever grateful to my mom for putting me in that school and will always be thankful for the teachers I had encouraging me and getting my grades to the way they are
