Well ESPN owns the SEC network station so people believe they manipulate the polls to gain viewership on their network which increases there revenue. Other examples could be models used in advertising before and after pictures. When they take picture they look totally different from what the final image may see. News outlets use manipulation in storylines to gain more people’s attention. They use certain words that stretch the truth to gain advantage from viewers or readers.
