On a mission of capturing a dangerous man five U.S. soldiers are caught in a dead end in Northern Iraq as terrorists are on their track firing relentlessly towards them. Lt. Jackson could see the fear in their eyes when suddenly a grenade pops out from above the house they were holding up in. Jackson didn't know what else to do but before he could think of something , he saw himself jump on the grenade, knowing it was the only thing he himself could do.Boom! Jackson laid on the floor while his men fired back at the merciless terrorists who wanted them dead. Lt. Jackson was just happy that his men were alive and hoped that they were able to live a long-full life. Since there are many different people , there are many different perspectives on how a person sees a hero. A child would see a hero as a Marvel superhero like Iron Man , Superman , Captain America , etc. An adult would see their parents as heroes. Sometimes people see heroes as the people who risk their lives to benefit others. The truth is that anyone can be a hero. A person can be placed in any situation that will figure out whether the person has heroism. A hero would give to the homeless. A hero wouldn't steal from a store. Imagine if a bus catches on fire and quickly spreads throughout the whole bus. In this situation Ms.Smith , a bus driver , notices flames coming from the back of the bus as it is spreading quickly. “The fire, which affected a bus in College Park, Maryland, spread quickly, so bus driver Renita Smith had to think on her feet” , according to the telegraph news. This shows that in a difficult situation where you only have seconds to think , you figure out if you are a true hero. This woman saved all the children on the bus and was the last to get off. This shows that being a hero isn't just having great bravery , but having self-confidence and believing in
