Personalized Nutrition Plan

Improved Essays
There are many opportunities to gain knowlege in nutrion around my community. Although some of these places may not be as quialafied as others. The key to getting a personalized nutrition plan is to visit different places to combine different recommendations. Personally I use my doctors office, the local gym, and vitamin store to get the knowledge I need to improve my health. Having these places keeps me in the loop with new nutrition ideas. I have used many different plans in the past, and my current plan is based on thing I have learned.

One of the most credible sources for me is the doctors office. Although I only visit the doctor occasionally, when they find a deficiency they are sure to immediatly recommend changes to improve my health.

During our second session, we reviewed his five-day food diary. I noticed that during the day Justin likes to drink several sodas throughout the day and overall he does not eat many different areas of the food groups as discussed in the first session. Since some days my patient works long hours at work, he says that he usually finds quick things to eat and grabs a soda to drink and calls it a night. He also stated that he knows that he doesn't eat properly, but most of the time he cannot because of his busy work schedule. During the second session, we also completed a Carbohydrate Intake-Caries Risk Short Form.…

Growing up, I have always wanted to dedicate myself to doing something special in life. I was born in a village in Mexico where public health and education were very limited. I recall, one day, accompanying my mother to a ladies house where there was a sick child. My mother was one of the women in the village who would take care of the sick; she learned everything she knew from my grandmother. When we got there, I saw my mother prepare some medicine and giving it to the ill child.…

The way a consumer would trace their decision making process if they were to go on a diet is exactly how the book describes it. The first step they would go through is the need recognition stage. They would need to decide if it is a functional need or a psychological need. For a diet plan, the psychological need would be a best fit because you don 't need to be paying for these services but it would be helpful to have the diet service. The next step is the information search which allows the consumer to find out what they need or want from the product or service.…
