Personalized Learning Analysis

The use of personalized learning presents to be a major transition from the traditional learning path. The personalized learning path is not necessarily confusing or difficult; however, it will take time for me to adjust to the environment. Alternative learning methods, such as personalized learning, creates a conducive learning environment for students on an individual basis. Moreover, the method establishes a flexible path to help students’ receive credit and master course content notwithstanding time, location, and pace. Most importantly, the use of the personalized learning path will enhance my educational experience. The alternative learning method will increase my interaction and engagement amongst my peers; because, the course content will be personalized or tailored to accommodate my learning needs. Firstly, the instructor for this course has provided multiple means of contact e.g. via (a) private message through blackboard, (b) via discussion board if the situation may be applicable to others, (c) school email, and (d) requested phone conference. Secondly, the course has two teaching assistance that may be experienced and able to provide assistance and helpful feedback on the personalized learning tool. Like the instructor, the teaching assistants have multiple means of contact (a) via private message through blackboard, (b) via discussion board labeled “Ask Teaching Assistant,” and (c) via skype (sometimes). Lastly, the use of peer support is an option. Fortunately, there are many students who have had the privilege of experiencing personalized learning.
