Personality Typing Methods And Define My Personality Type Essay

Many different personality typing methods were used to define my personality type. These personality typing methods included the Myers-Briggs Personality Test, Jung Typology Test, Keirsey’s Temperaments, and the informational Type Talk at Work textbook. The validity of results helped me to realize I am in the correct career path.
The results of the Jung Typology Test reflected that I have an Extraverted, Intuitive, Feeling, and Judging personality “The Giver”. My two-letter temperament is “NF”, “The Teachers” per Keirsey. For example, I am social and find work fulfilling when I am interacting with different people and bringing out the best out of my team by motivating them.

Meyers-Briggs Personality Test
Understanding who you are and the many different personality types there are is very helpful when it comes to knowing how to communicate effectively with different people in your work life and personal life. The Meyer-Briggs personality test is divided into four opposing preferences which include; Extravert or Introvert, Sensing or Intuition, Thinking or Feeling, and Judging or Perceiving. Different situational and behavioral questions were asked to closely match the four opposing preferences within the personality typing. After taking the test it did not surprise me to see I was an Extravert, Intuitive, Feeling, and Judging personality type, with an NF temperament described by Keirsey.
