To what extent are the personality traits and features essential in maintaining business success?
Success means living a life you are feeling proud of in retrospect. Achieving success is a complex multimodal process which cannot be accurately defined. There is no single algorithm which would lead a human to success. Even though a number of psychologists worked to derive a formula which would lead people to it, there are millions of factors which would always cause concerns about trustworthiness of that particular strategy. It requires a lot of personal work and an ability to cognize and sort own feelings, advantages and superpowers. It is the first step which is a fundamental base and first step in obtaining future business success. When looking for new business undergraduates and graduates, admissions of prestigious colleges require not just brilliant test results — it is just a check on the list. More importantly, they need people with unique traits, innovative ideas, high-impact leadership skills and passion for their studies. Anybody can tell their extraordinary story as any story by the way is unique. However low percentage of enrollees can express their traits and highlight themselves in a long list of their rivals. Writing statement of purpose and responding to particular questions is sometimes an underestimated task. Students show their brilliant writing techniques and their pure knowledge and then wonder why they didn’t get in. Everybody has his own idea of what success is and how it looks like. But not everybody knows how to reach it. Development of own personality traits is the key element in a path to success. Evoking creativity which everybody has is important as well. Living a long life and becoming more mature is synonymous to cognizing own characteristics. But instead of waiting when the time comes, it’s better to start facilitating its development on early stages. Seeing the top of success through the spectrum of your own traits and ability is the best way to reach the desirable heights. Future research may involve investigating the effect of particular personality traits on certain areas. It is also necessary to examine issues which concern creativity in detail. According to Jervis (p.26, 1998) “creativity is the lifeblood of any successful enterprise but, as anyone in business knows, creativity is hard to manage, difficult to encourage and almost impossible to define.” Basically, it is impossible to define this term, however it is likely to be approximately described. There is a chance that some experiments, surveys, empirical knowledge and someone’s personal experience would make the understanding of creativity clearer and give more background about
