The first aspect in recognizing a great leader is knowing your strengths and weaknesses. Knowing one’s weakness gives one the opportunity to improve oneself. Leadership is not a small task. In my opinion, being a leader means setting good examples to others, being able to think clearly without being bias, being firm, and able to start or create things without being supervised. Leaders help themselves and others to do the right thing. Personally, I have some experience on what it means to be a leader. Being the first child in my family gives me the opportunity to understand what it means to be a leader by setting good examples to my three younger sisters. I really enjoyed reading the results because it definitely describes exactly who I am in all areas including career paths. After taking this assessment, I learnt that I have the INFJ (Introvert, Intuitor, Feeler, and Judger) personality type. An INFJ has strengths and weaknesses. Some of my strength as an INFJ are being creative- in terms of resolving human challenges and have a strong sense of compassion and vivid imagination, insightful- such as seeing through dishonesty and disingenuous motives, Altruistic- “ INFJ would take action not because they are trying to advance themselves but because they want to advance ideas that they truly believe would make the world better,” (Chris, 2017) decisive, value driven and conscientious, passionate and determined, convincing and inspiring. The Price Group leadership assessment I took pretty much analyzed if I’m more of a leader or a manager based on series of skills and action based questions. After taking the assessment, I felt in the category of being a leader. According to the score I had, it stated that I seem to demonstrate good, realistic and leadership skills. I’m glad I took these self-assessments. They have indeed been a great tool to use and have no doubt they will guide me in my future leadership opportunities. Now that I know what skills I possess and the skills that needs to be worked on in order for me to be an effective leader, I can better analyze on skills that needs improvement. As a leader, I will have to admit that I still have some things that need to be worked upon such as my weaknesses in terms of my personalities as listed above I believe if I start to work on my personality weaknesses, it will reflect positively in my leadership skills. I need to work on my lack of confidence. Personally, I believe confidence is one of the very important skills to have in becoming an effective leader, because many times you’ll be forced to face the crowd and defend some situations or
