My five assessments that I have chosen to utilize in my professional career and personal development are as follow:
1. Golden Personality Type Profiler (GPTP) (both)
2. Myers- Briggs(MBTI) (career)
3. My Thinking Style (MTS) (personal)
4. Self Directed Search- SDS (career)

MBTI is a personality assessment used to measure how individuals perceive the world and decision making. This assessment only takes 20-30 minutes and is as simple as answering ninety-three questions online or on paper. Once completed students will receive their theory of psychological type. In main of my human development and leadership courses I have had the opportunity to complete this test different times. It is shocking to see how you have grown or changed within a few years. I think this will be a great assessment for my students to take freshman and senior year. This will allow students to see and review their growth into young adults. College years is the time we evolve from teenagers to young adults. How student interact with team mates may be different than in a corporate setting. This assessment helps individuals in less than 20 minutes find a career choice by completing an online assessment. SDS ask questions about skills, career interest, and goals. Based on your responses you are then given a three- letter code, which is linked to careers related to your personality based on your answers. Your answers will determined if your personality is one of six types: Realistic, Investigative, Artistic, Social, Enterprising, and Conventional. This assessment can help students see if college is the right path for them and also assist with narrowing down a major. SDS can also help with assisting in hiring a good department employee as well. This assessment can compare interviewees personalities to the position in which one has applied. This can expedite the hiring process and save money not hiring and unqualified candidate.

My last assessment I have chosen to use in my personal life is Workplace Personality Inventory II(WPI-II). WPI-II measures sixteen different work styles in order to assist leaders. This 30 minute assessment consist of hundred and ninety-two questions. As a leader this will help with the advancement of students and new hires. WOI-II reveals 6 drivers of work performance:
