Skinner, a behavioral theorist, projected. As we go about learning our own patterns we learn them either indirectly or directly. Directly would be by doing something good and being positively reinforced, whereas indirectly would be by observing other people and the environment we are in. To act in a way that would offer positive reinforcement, it would be almost common sensible to continue to act that way to achieve those favorable matters, which is what Skinner understood. Agreeableness, which is part of the five personality traits, goes along with what Skinner proposed if we want to continue those traits of warmth and cooperativeness. To go with this, we are molded by the society we are in and that our behavior relies heavily on what we perceive to be true. So to counter this assertion, Skinner implied that if our negative personas are not where we want them to be, the only way to change them is by changing the environment we are in. When examining the big five personality traits it is important to know that each of these traits is what makes up a person 's personality. The first characteristic is extraversion. This is the individual’s comfort of other people and how they interact around them. In my opinion, this trait is the one that sticks out the most out of them all because in order to succeed in life you must know how to deal with other people and manage them because you can always change yourself, not other people. Business cannot be conducted without relationships with other people and knowing how to interact and be sociable. Companies must have good relationships and cohesiveness both inside and outside, whether it is customers or other clients you work with on a routine basis. Agreeableness as mentioned earlier in my essay, correlates with what Skinner said, is the next trait that follows extraversion. Agreeableness is great in the work environment, but can also be a negative because if you agree and settle for everything, how much business if actually going to be done? Yes, it is a good thing to agree with people, but being balanced in this category produces the most efficient outcome for the business.
