People are born into different environments and experience different things growing up every external factor effects a persons beliefs. This revelation seems obvious, however I find most people do not take it into consideration when discussing what it is they believe. Many want to affect the world, but I want the world to affect me. I cant imagine living in the same place for an entire lifetime, and yet I can see examples of it throughout the world. I believe the reason lies in placing value in things that theoretically need to be valued, like a familiar familial structure, or social organization. Personally, I seek something more, but there is still the possibility that I will change that stance later in life. A recluse can gain just as much happiness as an extravert, and the origin of who I am can take a lifetime to discover in both instances.
