Personal Wellbeing: Professional Analysis

An employed owes its employees a ‘duty or care’. Everyone in work has a duty to safeguard and nurture personal wellbeing at work. From an organizational management angle, wellbeing is a major factor in quality, performance, productivity and therefore business effectiveness and profit. Where a person's wellbeing reduces, so typically does his or her performance and effectiveness.
It is important to me as a manager to keep an eye of people individually. When I first started as a manager I took my time to get to know all of the staff; by doing this I am able to notice any changes more easily and build up relationships with them so if they did have any problems in their work or home life that may be affecting their work they feel they are able
