Slavery My personal view on slavery is a disgrace, slavery was caused by crucial hate by humanity. It served a great depression for blacks in those times as they were treated unfairly. When a female slave gives birth, that baby is already brought up into slavery. Like a cycle of life that constantly repeated. They were not treated with gratitude of any kind. Mostly the whites had the right to vote, blacks didn’t have much given to them. It is the sad truth. Slaves were not considered people they were considered to be property. They were not allowed to vote, go to school, use public restrooms, ride on the back of buses and speak in any court, and owning property was not even allowed. So being a free African was no different from being a slave. There is really no difference actually. Free blacks could be brought back into slavery if they are caught. Slaves were isolated from the rest of the household given their own headquarters away from everything. They were often abused and beaten on several accounts due to cruelty and discipline. They were often tortured and raped and not treated as equals in their own household, let alone in their communities and such. Slaves were hard workers and took care of many responsibilities and duties as were told by the head household. Slaves were not taken on a respectable level by others and were often treated as animals. Their duties involved farming, housework, taking care of the children, having food prepared and anything else that needed to be done. Slaves were often hanged and abused by their owners, the women were raped by the white men and were forced to have their children and given their last names. As the children grew up, they took on as the next generation of slaves following their
