I included these areas in my professional philosophy because I believe that they encompass aspects that help structure your actions and the manner in which you carry yourself. It is important to recognize the value of your profession as an athletic trainer and to embrace the variety of roles that you may take on. I feel that if you value your profession, you will always work hard and try to make the best choices and decisions in certain situations. Another job that probably would not happen is to be a NHL gm as I love making my own teams. Being an athletic trainer and especially working with a collegiate team will take up a majority of my life and can be overwhelming at times but having friends and family to support you will be beneficial. Being able to time manage and have a life outside of the job will be important to my mental health and not letting my work consume me. I am also wanting to complete these goals at a young age so that after experiencing the Olympic games I could settle down and start a family. Hopefully I will marry someone who understands these goals and doesn’t want kids right after marriage. Then after starting a family being able to balance my family and the team could be a difficult journey because of the time commitment with practice, games, meets, tournaments, and traveling battling wanting to raise my children and not miss them growing up.…
