The main reason for choosing to study Sport and Exercise Science was due to my passion for sport that has developed since my adolescent years. Having a strong interest in this subject is important as it helps to create passion which then helps with the motivation. When you are passionate about something, you are more than likely to enjoy what you do as well as being successful.
When commencing this course, my original goals were to become a personal trainer as well as eventually working with the local football team developing exercise plans to improve player’s personal goals as well as to strengthen the overall team. Although, the more I continue with this course, I can feel a slight shift in my future goals and wanting to specialise in pregnancy and postpartum exercise due to being a mother myself and no one offering this type of exercise is my

Ideally, my study goals would be to study full time to achieve all goals in three years. With two young children, this is a challenge. Four years of study is a more realistic goal. Online study with placements is the easiest option for me, although campus study would make life easier but it is not feasible when living 4 hours from campus.
To find out the various courses required for this program I can refer to the University of Southern Queensland website to find the handbook, which contains all of the courses listed as well as the recommended enrolment pattern. Professional accreditation is required to complete my studies. Any person working with human body and its movements should have accreditation due to the fact that without it, anything can go wrong and can cause issues to your client without the proper skills and
