The area of study I have chosen to study at Bond University is a major in Criminology and Law. I have chosen these fields to study because I aspire to be part of a dynamic professional environment where I am able to a Criminal Lawyer.

While attending the University open day on the 22nd of July, I developed an insight Criminology and Law at Bond. The university is able to provide exceptional studies and information needed to pursue a highly successful and fulfilling career.

I would like to study Criminology and Law because this is a degree that can develop a critical and focused mind. My interest in the subjects sparked when I was watching NCIS, how to get away with Murder, Making a Murder, OJ Simpsons Vs the People and Suits.
Since I was a child I have watched these shows and inspired to be like the Lawyers. I realise these are fictional character’s and shows but they prominently focus on the idea of Criminal Law.

My interests extended into the court system when I started going to court to watch cases, this is really why I wanted to study Criminology and Law. I witness the impact on the person’s life and I knew that I wanted to do the same job.

I was then able to take action on my choices and my aspirations, I want to take my degree to the next step and succeed in the area of Criminology and Law. Both these subjects compliment each other as on is the analysis of the law and the other is the theory of the crime.

My aspirations then extended to my first Criminal Law Class, I knew from that day on that I wanted to continue into a degree and into a job into a rewarding area.
I was able to find subjects that interested me and subjects which inspire me to be a Criminal Lawyer. I have also studied Criminal Psychology which was similar the same as Criminal Law but was taken too much more
