I first realized I wanted to pursue a career in Electronics Engineering when I took an Electronics class in high school. I got interested in how electricity works in all the technology that we use today in our modern world. I was also curious about how a device with a screen is able to display words and pictures. I also want to learn programming because it deals a lot with electronics. Programming shows how we communicate and tell devices what to do. Without programming, devices wouldn’t do anything. In this essay I will explain the reasons I want to go into this field, the steps I must take to receive a degree, the challenges I will go through to complete this degree, what my future would be like without the degree I am pursuing, and what …show more content…
The level of education that most workers need to enter this field is an Associate’s degree. They also state that in 2012 there were 146,500 total number of jobs in this field. The projected change in employment from 2012 to 2022 is little or no change at all. Electronics Engineers primarily work in research and development laboratories where they help design and develop computers or other electronic equipment’s. They also help test and repair used equipment that may not function the way that it did before. Electronics Engineers often work together with other technicians so teamwork can be …show more content…
I think I would have a job with not enough pay to be able to have a place to live or enough to be able to buy a car. I think I would be working at a restaurant or someplace where education is not required. If I am not able to get a job as an Electronics Engineer, I think I would try to get a degree on a different field. I would try to get a degree in Automotive. I am really interested in Automotive and I have lots of knowledge in it. I also have work experience in Automotive. My work pay in Automotive was not bad but I can get paid better if I get a degree and it would be a lot easier to find a job in this
