"True love is eternal, infinite, and always like itself. It is equal and pure, without violent demonstrations: it is seen with white hairs and is always young in the heart." -Honoré de Balzac
The world has taught me to love, but only when love is deserved. Love has broken so many people. I see it in my friend Miranda, a forbidden love due to the inability to except progress. . Destinee, a verbally abusive and bipolar relationship. People take the love they feel they deserve. If only they could see that they deserve better. I know what I deserve. I know how people should be treated in a relationship. I see perfect examples of it in my parents every day I wake up. I never thought two people from such similar yet different backgrounds could mesh together so perfectly. They’re in sync. My dad is goofy and supportive while my mom is headstrong and controlling. My parents level each other out and act like best friends. They’re a united front. One just as strong as the other.

Warped tour is a giant all day concert that starts at 11:00 a.m. and doesn 't until around 8:00 p.m. It has at least 20 bands with 6 different stages. Someone is always singing. It 's mostly screamo, some rock and the occasional pop mix. I had decided to go with my main friends for this special occasion. There was four of us. Destinee was the quiet one, Haley was the one with a complicated and scary home life, Miranda was the loud and funny one and I was the outspoken and charming one. Dad always says I remind him of my mom when she was younger. Anyways, back to warped tour. It was July 30th and the heat was eating everyone alive. Falling in Reverse was up next, the true and living legends in the flesh. When my mom was a teenager she was obsessed with them. We have extremely similar taste in music. Some of the stuff my dad listens to is just mainstream rap and quite frankly, very annoying, so I stick with my mom’s

Until I met letlive. The way the singer connected with his music was beautiful. At one point he was crying, he was laughing and then after the first song I swear he had us all crying or moving along to the music, It was beautiful. I learned from that specific concert that it isn’t okay to judge a band by a song. Just because one song isn't good, or sounds funny doesn't mean that their music doesn't mean anything.…

Cool Korn As I sat down with one of the coaches, who is the defensive backs coach on the Tennessee State University (TSU) football staff, I noticed how Coach Korn reminded me of myself. My interviewee was Coach Korn, since I play offensive line, he is not one of my coaches. Coach Korn and I have had our occasional hi and bye’s, but until this interview I knew not much of him. I noticed a few things, one being that he has been interviewed before because when we sat down he showed no signs of nervousness, second is that he kept his hood on throughout the entire interview, and third was that Coach Korn did not speak with a loud voice but at the same time I understood his…

“Tobacco, coffee, alcohol, hashish, prussic acid, and strychnine are weak dilutions; the surest poison is love.” Love can be defined in many ways, but poison is a new one. Love is just as dangerous as coffee, prussic acid, and strychnine because they all have as extreme outcomes as love can have. Love and prussic acid are very different. They can be alike with the possible outcomes of an intense feeling.…

According to, psychologist, Barbara Fredrickson, there 's no such thing as true love, but merely a "micro-moment of positivity resonance" a neurobiological response. Fredrickson is referring to a charge of emotional electricity between two people, whether it is romantic, friends, relatives or even strangers. In her book, Love 2.0: How Our Supreme Emotion Affects Everything We Feel, Think, Do, and Become, Fredrickson argues that scientific evidence argues love is not what we think it is. According to Fredrickson when she refers to true love as a "micro-moment of positivity resonance", what she is trying to say is that love is a connection created by positive emotions between any two people.…
