Words and Numbers Retreat Support Letter

I want to go on this trip because I don’t have a trip to go on this year and it seems like this is the only trip where I will finish all the work I still have to do and have fun at the same time.
My personal goal for this trip is to catch up on all of my math/communications work and do all of the things I have to do. I want to get through the trip without having anxiety and freaking out.
My intellectual goal for the trip is to learn how to do at least one thing in math to the fullest and understand the steps and how to do it.
My social goal is to get to know the people i’m going on the trip with even if I already know some pretty well, and this isn’t really social it’s kind of the opposite but I want

As I stepped through the doors at my first PFO retreat, I immediately felt inadequate. I was surrounded by talented, compassionate, articulate teens, but I just felt like a normal 15 year old. Throughout the retreat, people would write comments of gratitude about others on sticky notes and leave them on a board in the front of the room.…
