Why People Attend College
I think people attend college because they want to prepare themselves to get a job. In countries such as Indonesia, people are not allowed to choose the subjects that they will learn at school, but college is different. College gives us the freedom to choose whatever major that we want to pursue and get involved in. Which is why I think people attending college is because they want to prepare themselves to get a specific job by broadening their knowledge and gain practical experiences regarding that job. For example, people who have a passion in public speaking may choose communication as their major in college. This way, they can dig deeper the knowledge, skills and experiences that they need in how to communicate
