With $3000, I can either buy three thousand packages of Skittles or pay off some of my college loans. Although the idea of being surrounded by three thousand packs of pure sugar sounds ideal, I would rather utilize the money on something I truly need: education.
Not only will this award ease a bit of my stress, but it will also motivate me. Earning this award would convince me to further perform challenging tasks for my studies, and would raise my self-esteem. It will allow for me to feel more intelligent, capable, and positive.
My parents would be extremely proud as well, knowing they did not come all the way to America for nothing. They are my source of motivation, thus knowing I made them proud will incline me to work harder.
