Personal Statement: Why I Want To Be A Part Of NSLI-Y

My first reason I would like to be a part of NSLI-Y is because I love to travel. I think this would be an amazing opportunity for me because after high school I plan to join to Peace Corp. I am a very adventurous person and love to travel. The second reason would be that I find learning a new language super interesting and important. Being able to help people translate and help confusion would be ideal. I think learning other heritages is super important. You can find out more about yourself by learning new things and I think that's awesome! My third reason would be I think this would be a great opportunity for me overall. Mentally I've been thinking over every situation that could happen and preparing myself. I've done a lot of research
