Writing: When I was little I hated writing because my old teachers in preschool and first grade would force us use the “grip we were supposed to”. When I was in preschool we did this thing where you would have a letter and you had to write it down on a piece of paper and then for homework, then you would get a sheet and have to practice three or four letters and then copy them into words. When I was in first grade my teacher forced us to write two sentences about a picture every night and I hated it.…

While I was still studying in middle school, I usually played a lot of games and refused to do any homework. For example, I would play on Saturday and Sunday and did all of my homework on Sunday night, which was a really unwise decision. However, I have changed after one time when I had to give up my sleeping time and did homework. It was a painful night, which I would never forget. I remember on that weekend, I played for the whole Saturday and half of the Sunday.…

Today my parents asked me how school went. I wanted to respond with "Horrible, I never want to go back", but it's only one week since I've started the 10th grade. Therefore, I responded with the same "fine" I have been responding with since 7th grade. To be honest, I sometimes make it seem worse than it is. How can we be creative and have lives outside of school, like we are told, when school is our only focus? To be honest, we can’t.…
