My dad has been doing construction work his whole life as he gets older it becomes more difficult for him to him to do. He complains his bones and muscles are beginning to ache more than usual and his calves are swollen and purple like eggplants. As a result kneeling, bending down , and sometimes lifting heavy objects is not an easy task. I’m not sure how much longer he will push through the pain to make money the only way he knows how. My dad never went to college and some days he wishes he had so he wouldn't be working as hard as he does now. Not only does my dad verbally remind me to do good in school so I don't end up like him, but his constant struggle to get from the front door to his bed also reminds me. I admire my dad’s admiration to push through his pain to provide for his family. His strong work ethic inspires me to keep going through difficult times. With the constant daily reminders and inspiration to do better I enrolled in college to become a vet tech. One day my hard work will pay off and I will make my dad

Why People Attend College I think people attend college because they want to prepare themselves to get a job. In countries such as Indonesia, people are not allowed to choose the subjects that they will learn at school, but college is different. College gives us the freedom to choose whatever major that we want to pursue and get involved in. Which is why I think people attending college is because they want to prepare themselves to get a specific job by broadening their knowledge and gain practical experiences regarding that job. For example, people who have a passion in public speaking may choose communication as their major in college.…
