Personal Statement: What College Means To Me

Decent Essays
College means everything to me. Since middle school I knew I wanted to go to college. I knew that I wanted to grow up and make a difference in the world. I wanted to make my family proud. Most people in my family did not go to college. I wanted to be greater than the ones that came before me, and I will do anything it takes to get where I want to be. There are people that want to stop me. They say I am not good enough or smart enough to go to college. One day I want to be able to them I did it and they were wrong. One day I will be able to say that. I knew I wanted to be great in life but for I a while I didn’t know how I would do that. My strongest subject in school are math and science, so I want to work in a field where I can use my strengths.

I would recommend actually trying to do the workouts for field hockey before preseason. That way it wouldn't be so bad in the future.…
