Virtual Field Experience Summary
Out of all the videos I have seen in Dr. Craig class, I find Mr. Bedley teaching methods to be the most effective for students to learn. I enjoy all three parts of the Lesson Observation of his class. I enjoy his class is because he follow the TEAM Educator Observation Form very well. I believe he met every single requirement on the TEAM Educator Observation Form. I would give him a five in every section because I believe he did an outstanding job in his classroom. There are three reasons to why I chose Tim Bedley to be my favorite. Here are the three reasons I will be presenting in my paper report: what the students did in class, teacher’s guidance and way of teaching, and the atmosphere of the classroom.
When I was watching the videos, I was fascinated by how Mr. Bedley supervise the students in his class. Not only was the students were respectful towards him, Mr. Tim was respectful to them. In my opinion, that is one of the fundamental factors of being a great …show more content…
I like how the environment was friendly and welcoming. When I was watching the video, I like how Mr. Bedley has a lot of posters in his classroom to make it fun and exciting. If his environment was very boring, but his teaching method and everything else was the same, I feel like the students will not be able to perform well because of the environment. The environment is very important for a classroom to be successful. Personally, if I see teachers put an effort in their classroom, I would feel more motivate to do well than in a classroom that is dull and boring. The reason why I feel like I would do better is because if the atmosphere is alive and active, I would feel more excited and wanting to do better. A bright classroom brings the best out of the students.
In conclusion, having the right motivation for students, teacher’s guidance, and the right atmosphere, everyone could be a great teacher for their future
