Strengths Quest After being assigned a questionnaire survey to discover my greatest strengths as a person, I was made aware of five different descriptions that I feel actually fit me. Those being, competition, achiever, futuristic, positivity, and woo. With all of those describing my personality it proved that this particular strengths quest survey was very accurate. These specific qualities that I possess will prove to be vital in helping me achieve academic success, and find and reach my vocational calling. College can be difficult for many students, especially in the chase to experience academic success, and find their vocational calling in this big world. One reason why is because they really have no guidance on what each of those truly mean. Academic success is typically viewed as receiving a high grade in the course, which is partly correct, but that is not all that goes into achieving the …show more content…
To ensure you are academically successful there are numerous ways to do so. With me playing football and being a student-athlete, I’m aided in a plethora of ways. I have academic coaches who are to be met with once a week, a minimum of six total study hall hours that have to be completed each week, tutors in the academic success center, and terrific professors that are understanding, flexible, and flat out here for the students. With all those tools I feel it is harder for me not to achieve success when it comes to academics. In finding my vocational calling, it will come down to me praying and asking for guidance on where my life is heading, and getting out and trying some of the luxuries on this campus that many other universities don’t possess. There are tons of things around campus that can help lead you in the direction on your calling, its just pivotal that you make use of
